The Best Coffee Shops in Thailand – A Guide to Bangkok, Koh Samui & Koh Tao

If you love coffee as much as I do, Thailand might surprise you. Between the beaches and busy streets, I found some genuinely great cafés serving proper specialty coffee. Nothing fancy, nothing overcomplicated just good beans, good people and good vibes.

Here are six coffee spots I visited on my travels around Thailand that are 100% worth checking out.

1. Mother Roaster – Bangkok

📍 1172 Thanon Maha Chai, Samran Rat, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok 10200

Mother Roaster is tucked away in Bangkok’s old town, and it feels like a bit of a hidden gem. It’s small, slightly rustic and all about the coffee. The flavours lean a bit fruity and everything is made with care. If you’re into specialty coffee in Bangkok, this place is a must.
